Sell for less, get more?
In an efficient market, buyers and sellers can get more for less. The Silver Shield Xchange seeks to create and efficient market for the secondary silver market. This will allow those that are most passionate about silver to buy and sell silver with lower fees and higher net sales.
Dwolla is free for users to use under $10 and only charges .25¢ for any transaction above that.
The Silver Shield Xchange is free to list any silver and only charges 3% for each successful auction.
eBay Example: Buyer A wins a $100 auction for a silver coin from Seller B.
First, you have to wait for Buyer A to pay the winning auction which does not always happen then PayPal takes $3 and eBay takes $12. Finally, Seller B gets $85.
Silver Shield Xchange Example: Buyer A wins a $100 auction for a silver coin from Seller B.
$100 is automatically debited from Buyer A’s Dwolla account and $96.75 is deposited in Seller B’s Dwolla account, $3 goes to SSX and .25¢ goes to Dwolla.
The difference between the SSX $96.75 and $85 could be all of the profit in that coin. With lower fees, more silver stackers can trade more profitably and that is good for everyone.
