this was very very good!!!
Awesome… The greatest prayer is to comprehend the Universe and our required function within her.
What BS – doesn’t know what prayer is all about!
Whats a matter – can’t stand the fact that I commented you obviously do not know much about prayer, it’s purpose or the actual meaning of it. You post the praise but nothing else. Perhaps ur more like Alex jones than u wish to think.
I love those that claim they are followers of Christ are so combative…
well I guess I put my foot in my own mouth.
The first time I clicked on this it did not show my comment about you not knowing much about prayer. Duh, then for some reason the comment appeared that it’s still awaiting moderation!!
So for the last comment I must make (ugh- grrrrrr ) an apology for jumping the gun. but it reminded me of so many places in which the writer wants praise only and no disagreement. So sorry Uncle Albert
How do you know who is a follower of Christ? And again you show your ignorance regarding Jesus The Christ – see: Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35″For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW;…
And a CAPS LOCK warrior too…
BTW Chris, Since you are a former Marine ( I say former because usually a Marine will tell you, “Once a Marine Always a Marine”. I say this because of late you seem to have an obvious distaste for the Military and that is your prerogative but my point is I would think that you would understand the “Battle Cry” of Real Christianity which is = Advance, Attack, Onward etc. Anyone that really knows the Bible would certainly know that Jesus the Christ was certainly not a WHIMP. Someone once asked an Indian man (from India) who had read and studied the Bible what impressed him the most?
His ans was, “The courage of Jesus The Christ.” Well time to let this rest less you label me More Combative. Still enjoy reading all your “stuff” Keep up the good work = You might want to pray about it/lol
I broke my indoctrination both in the Marines and the Catholic Church.
Both are collectivist organizations that thrive off of individuals sacrificing themselves to the cunning men at the top.
Good for you. You might not realize it Chris but I am about 99% with you all the way. I put 10 years in the AF(Vietnam Era) and nowadays would not even join the military. Also, Same with The Roman Catholic church – left it years ago.
Cunning men at the top are running and ruining everything. ” God grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change – the courage to change the things that I can and the WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE?
Again= keep up the good work and I do appreciate you and your efforts.
I understand the pint but the tone is almost mocking of the purpose of prayer. In its true form, which in a mature individual (an undivided mind), prayer is the emptying of the personal problems that clutter the mind and disturb the spirit so that the creative energy of the Creator can enter and renew the mind and spirit. The immature spirit prayers for the desires of the self, while the mature spirit prays as an act of connecting and aligning the order of the Creator’s intentions so that our intentions become His. The immature spirit finds comfort in the collective while the mature spirit nurtures and grows in a personal relationship to truth, reality and to the Creator (God). So God help us, indeed, and God helps those who help themselves, meaning, those who seek shall find and those who know will have the doors opened…and it shall set them free.
